On the territory of the cemetery "Military" there was a youth action on improvement "Our memory to veterans!", in which cadets of the faculty of militia took part.
Cadets of 1 "A" course led by deputy chief of the course of the captain of the militia Lilya Vadim Vladimirovich took part in the action, which also was joined by students from other educational institutions of the Soviet district of Minsk.
The military cemetery is a special place with its incredible atmosphere. The great Minsk necropolis keeps a rich history of people in epaulets, tells of the numerous exploits of Soviet heroes of the second half of the 20th century, outstanding Belarusian representatives of science, culture, sport of the early 20th century, legendary writers such as Yanka Kupala, Yakub Kolas, Kuzma Cherny.

The history of the Minsk city military cemetery began from the distant XIX century, the solemn ceremony of consecration which took place on June 2, 1895, was confessed by the father father Pavel Bogdanovich. In 2005 the site of military graves was reconstructed and landscaped. For 2017, the cemetery "Military" has about 3000 burials.
