Excursion to the Museum: the Achievements of the Country Are Its History and Cause for Pride

On the eve of the Day of the Constitution, cadets of the Faculty of Militia visited the Museum of Modern Belarusian Statehood.

In this rich storehouse of the achievements of our country, cadets saw mock-ups of the most famous architectural buildings located on the territory of Belarus, got acquainted with the history of the institute of presidency, became proud of the national heroes.

The museum focuses on the life of the country since its formation as a sovereign republic. Visitors get acquainted with the political, economic, scientific life of Belarus, achievements in culture and sport.

Cadet of the Faculty of Militia Nikolai Semenyuk:

- I feel pride in the achievements of our country. The museum allowed us to see the history of the Republic of Belarus from the first presidential elections to modern scientific discoveries in various fields. On behalf of classmates I express my gratitude to our management for the excursion.

The Museum of Modern Belarusian Statehood is one of the youngest and most technologically advanced museums in the country. It is part of the structure of the National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus and is an important information, presentation and communication center of the country.

The exposition of the museum has been opening to visitors since August 2012. It covers the period of modern history of the Republic of Belarus and is dedicated to the political, economic, scientific, cultural and sporting life of the country. The museum's foundation is about 4 thousand units, 800 of which are represented in the exposition.
