Roman Damiev, the Cadet of the Faculty of Militia, is the Champion of Belarus in Sambo

The sophomore of the Academy of the MIA, Roman Damiev speaks modestly about his sports achievements, although he won the second champion title.

Training in a police academy not only allows cadets to become highly qualified experts in law enforcement, but also provides many opportunities for the realization of their talents, including sports. Entering the academy, our champion continued to train and take part in competitions. Roman Damiev is a student of the 2nd "B" grade of the faculty of militia. The cadet with his athletic achievements successfully complements his exemplary performance of the service and good academic performance. Besides it, the sambist is a winner of championship of the Academy, Universiade 2017, international competitions.

- I am grateful to the Academy of the MIA for the achievements. Here I tempered the character, I learned to go forward and never give up. Now I am preparing for the European Championship, which will be held in Prague.
